2010-08-16 | | | | All GSMST students receive advisement lessons two times per month in their Language Arts or Engineering classes. Topics for this semester include:
- Goal Setting/Decision Making
- SAT vs. ACT
- Tolerance
- Stress Management
- Test Taking Skills (Note taking skills, study skills)
- Safe Choices
- Etiquette
- Self-Advocacy
During the year, 9th grade students receive classroom guidance lessons on Suicide Prevention from the counselors.
11th grade students also receive on-going classroom guidance lessons on college readiness from the counselors.
